Leslie Carlin is an award-winning writer of fiction and creative non-fiction.

Leslie Carlin (she/her) writes fiction, essays, and medical anthropology articles. 

Leslie’s short stories and essays have received awards and publication in newspapers and literary magazines including the Toronto Star, the Baltimore Review, Reed Magazine, and the Ocotillo Review. She has a Certificate in Creative Writing from the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies, winning the Marina Nemat Award for Creative Writing and the Penguin Random House Canada Student Award for Fiction.

Leslie has lived in the United States, Indonesia, England, and now Canada. She writes a blog about being a perennial expatriate. She works at the University of Toronto.
